The history of ceramic membrane

Ceramic membrane technology is one of the leading membrane technology, but it is still blank in China when it has been widely used in developed countries in the 1980s. It has the functions of separation, concentration, purification and desalination, and also has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, molecular filtration and so on. After the invention of membrane technology, it has been widely used in food processing, water purification, environmental treatment, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry and petrochemical industry to realize the purification and separation of products. Ceramic membrane is a kind of separation membrane which is made of ceramic material sintered at high temperature.
